The Volkswagen Motorsport’s Sebastien Ogier has shown an outstanding performance in the FIA World Rally Championship. His racing season 2013 started with a good second victory at Monte Carlo in January and then a great victory at the Sweden Rally last month, in icy tough conditions. Now, here in 2013 Rally Guanajuato Mexico, Sebastiern Ogier has again shown his dominance by winning the second consecutive Rally after Sweden Rally with 16 of the 23 best times. His team-paring with Julien Ingrassia, has delivered outstanding victory and its a result of the hard work of his Motorsport Team, on the other hand the new Volkswagen Polo R WRC [#8] has not shown any problem, and perfectly delivered the best winning performance for the Sebastien Ogier with the victory of power stage also. The Volkswagen Motorsport team is really happy, specially Ogier, who said after their win , “This win will always be in my heart.”.
Ogier has finished the race with a lead of 3 mintues and 28.9 seconds from the Mikko Hirvonen[Citroen Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team], who finished the race at second position. Due to the inconsistent performance, Hirrovan could not match against the unbeatable performance of Ogier. While, Thierry Neuville has taken the third position, the career’s first ever for the Belgian but due to his off-tracking at the stage no. 21, he could not make to the second place.
The fourth position is secured by Dani Sordo who was not able to get top pace of his Citroen through the complete weekend. The Ford Fiesta RS WRC’s Nasser Al-Attiyah who was the winner of Daker Rally 2011, has completed the rally at fifth position but in his career for the first time.
