In the past Toyota has managed to bag plenty of victories both in Baja 500 and 1000 endurance races, and so to celebrate the racing heritage of the brand it has launched an all new TRD Pro Series of Off-Road vehicles. The TRD Pro Series of vehicles are based on the 2015 Toyota Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner, which are already popular among off-road enthusiasts.
All the three vehicles are known for how capable they are on uneven terrains but the new, aggressive off-road packages offered with the TRD Pro Series simply push the capabilities to their limits.
The TRD Pro Series based on the 4×4 models of the Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner come with a host of features including TRD Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, TRD-tuned front springs, TRD front skid plate, Unique front grille with “TOYOTA” badging, TRD floor mats, TRD shift knobs, Black wheels, and an all new ‘Inferno’ exterior color option.
Starting with the models in specific now, the Tundra TRD Pro comes with exclusive features such as TRD-tuned springs with 2” lift for the front of the vehicle, Decreased spring rate to improve ride quality over harsh terrain, 18-inch alloy wheels with Michelin ORP tires, TRD dual exhaust system, TRD PRO quarter panel bed stamping, Unique interior seat color with red stitching and Unique instrument panel ornament insert.
The Tacoma TRD Pro gets TRD-tuned springs with 2” lift for the front, Decreased spring rate, 16-inch black beadlock-style wheels, BFGoodrichAll-Terrain LT265/75R16 tires, TRD Exhaust and Black TRD PRO badge.
Last but not the least, the 3Runner TRD Pro model equips 1.5” lift for the front of the vehicle, 1” of additional wheel travel, 17-inch TRD all-black alloy wheels, Black TRD Pro badges, Black front and rear lower bumper accents etc.
