2014 SRT Viper Debuts In Stryker Green Exterior Paint In Detroit

Chrysler Group’s performance division SRT has unveiled the 2014 SRT Viper sports car in an all new exterior paint. Named “Stryker Green,”, the new colour is said to be an evolution of the iconic Snakeskin Green exterior color that was first offered in 2008. Compared to the Snakesskin Green, the new Stryker Green color option features enhanced green and yellow pigments and gets a “liquid mercury” appearance. The color has been introduced while keeping in mind the fans of Viper. The car is all about exclusivity and with the new exterior color option it becomes even more exclusive.

SRT Viper official comeback with GTS-Rs at the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours

SRT Motorsports has now officially announced the return of Viper GTS-Rs to the most renowned track of 24-hour endurance race at Le Mans in June, in France. The official in Michigan, gave their approval on the honorable invitation from Automobile Club de l’Ouest[ACO] to compete with two SRT Viper GTS-Rs in the LM GTE Pro class of the Le Mans 24 Hours[24 Heures du Mans], held in June 22nd – 23rd 2013. SRT Motorsports and Riley Technologies from Mooresville, N.C., jointly work as team, for the overall design and construction of the SRT Viper GTS-Rs.

The same two fully-finished Sportscars has come back home from competition at Mid-Ohio last year, the first of four test-and-tune races in preparation for a full 2013 schedule in the GT class in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) presented by Tequila Patrón. The drivers who will be lineuped for the SRT 2013 Motorsports are Tommy Kendall, Kuno Wittmer, Dominik Farnbacher and Jonathan Bomarito.
