Skoda VisionC Concept Debuts At Geneva Motor Show

For Skoda, making practical and simple cars has been a passion for decades but in the recent times, the Czech major has started focusing on appealing designs. The latest concept from Skoda’s stables is the Skoda VisionC, a design achievement that will lead to a five door hatchback coupe expected to hit the production line sometime in 2016 and will go head to head with Mercedes-Benz’s CLA. The styling of the VisionC is expressive enough and is the next step of the new design language Skoda adopted three years ago.

The design of the car features sharp character lines as well as convex and concave surfaces, along with slight contours all across the length. The front of the car has a dynamic look featuring a wide grille, stylish headlamp design and fog lamps, vertical fins, a large air inlet and an elongated bonnet. Moving on to the side view, the



Skoda Unveils VisionC Concept Five-Door Coupe

For decades, Skoda has been manufacturing models that offer practicality  as well as performance at the expense of good looks. But lately, the Czech Republic giant, who is also a part of the Volkswagen Group of companies, has started focusing equally on design as on other areas of the vehicle. A while ago the car maker came up with Skoda Mission L concept which greatly inspired the latest generation Skoda Octavia. Today, the company has released a new concept called the Skoda VisionC which takes a new approach on concept car design.

In fact, going by how effectively Skoda used the Mission L design, the VisionC could become the face of all new models or perhaps the next generation iterations of the outgoing models.
