Nissan Introduces All New Juke NISMO RS: Details Inside

Expanding its model range, Nissan has introduced the all new Nissan Juke Nismo RS model for Europe. The Juke Nismo RS has been slotted as the flagship model of the new Juke range and comes with a number improvements including more power, stronger brakes, a sharper chassis and extra equipment. The new Juke Nismo RS is based on the very potent Juke Nismo and features motorsport inspired engineering, aerodynamics and design, taking the performance benchmark set by by the latter even higher. Powering the Juke Nismo RS is the 1.6 liter DIG-T engine which has been uptuned to deliver even more power and torque.

The fine tuned 1.6 liter DIG-T on the Nismo RS produces 218 PS of power and peak torque of 280 Nm, a decent increase of 18 PS in power and 30 Nm in torque compared to the standard Nismo version. Nissan has also added a mechanical



Nissan revealed performance-tuned lineup of Nismo and more at Chicago Auto Show

Nissan at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, has showcased its models by promoting “performance”, the central theme of Nissan at the exhibit. At the performance line-up of Nismo, the central to its exhibit, Nissan has presented the U.S. debut of its 2013 Juke Nismo - a revised performance of famous Juke Crossover and 2014 370Z Nismo. The first time unveiled model in U.S. is the 2014 Nissan GT-R, the limited-production GT-R Track Edition and the production premiere of its new 2013 Nissan NV200 cargo van, third entry to the Nissan’s Commercial Vehicle line-up.

Featuring 100 new revised components, the 2013 Juke Nismo powered with Nismo-tuned 1.6 Litre DIG Turbo Engine tuned to generate a horsepower of 197 with tuned suspension. In the exterior, the hardy aerodynamic design style, making more downforce improvement and lightweight 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Nissan launches Juke Nismo in Europe

Nissan launches the compact high performance Crossover – Juke Nismo – in Europe, featuring the inspired Motorsport DNA with racing inspired design, enhanced driving dynamics and performance. The new Nissan Juke Nismo is powered by a revised and advanced Nissan’s 4-cylinder DIG-T[Direct Injection Gasoline Turbocharged] 1.6 Litre petrol engine which can generate a horsepower from 187.4[190 PS or 140 kilo-Watts] to 197.3[200 PS or 147 kilo-Watts] and a torque in range from 240 Nm to 250 Nm .

In the performance part, the Two-Wheel Drive 6-Speed Juke Nismo with manual transmission can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hour[0 to 62 miles/hour] in 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 215 km/hour[134 miles/hour] and a combined[city+highway] fuel efficiency of 14.49 km/liter [40.9 miles/gallon], while a CO2 emission of 159 grams/kilometer. On the other hand, the Juke Nismo Four-Wheel Drive with continuously variable transmission, can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hour[0 to 62 miles/hour] in 8.2 seconds with
