Nissan Introduces All New Juke NISMO RS: Details Inside

Expanding its model range, Nissan has introduced the all new Nissan Juke Nismo RS model for Europe. The Juke Nismo RS has been slotted as the flagship model of the new Juke range and comes with a number improvements including more power, stronger brakes, a sharper chassis and extra equipment. The new Juke Nismo RS is based on the very potent Juke Nismo and features motorsport inspired engineering, aerodynamics and design, taking the performance benchmark set by by the latter even higher. Powering the Juke Nismo RS is the 1.6 liter DIG-T engine which has been uptuned to deliver even more power and torque.

The fine tuned 1.6 liter DIG-T on the Nismo RS produces 218 PS of power and peak torque of 280 Nm, a decent increase of 18 PS in power and 30 Nm in torque compared to the standard Nismo version. Nissan has also added a mechanical



2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO Pricing Announced: Starts From $149,990

Nissan has finally announced the pricing for its 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo and it starts from $149,990 USD. The new GT-R Nismo is a limited production model and the fastest GT-R built yet. The car holds the current lap record for production cars at the Nurburgring with a staggering time of 7:08.679. Talking about the specifications of the limited production GT-R, it is powered by a VR38DETT 3.8 liter, twin turbo, V6 engine which is capable of putting out 600 hp of power and 481 lb-ft of peak torque.

Compared to the standard GT-R models, the Nismo version features an upgraded fuel pump and optimized ignition timing control for improved combustion. Mated to the VR38DETT 3.8 liter heart is a sequential 6-speed dual clutch gearbox featuring paddle shifters to change gears at high speeds. Nissan ZEOD RC Electric Racecar Unveiled At Nismo Headquarters

Nissan, in collaboration with its performance arm Nismo, has been working on Nissan’s ZEOD RC electric race car for the past 8 months, and recently the car was officially unveiled at Nismo’s headquarters in Yokohama. The on Demand racer has gone from zero to ZEOD in a timescale of 33 weeks and all this development began just after Nissan Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn announced Nissan’s intention of returning to the Le Mans 24 hours. Automobile Club de l’Ouest has invited Nissan to participate in Le Mans 24 Hours next year and has offered the ZEOD RC the “Garage 56” entry that is reserved only for vehicles showcasing new and innovative race technology.

Nissan showcased its enhanced model line-up featuring the next-generation technology, best efficiency and performance at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. 2013 Nissan GT-R : The 2013 Nissan GT-R  made its European debut with more technical improvement and enhancement, which delivers best driving dynamics with high performance. Under the hood, 2013 GR-R is loaded with 3.8 Litre V6 Engine which has new high-output injectors to deliver precise control over fuelling, a new relief valve for the turbocharger which delivers enhanced turbo response and maintains throttle response.

All these improvements in the 2013 GT-R makes it sprint 0 to 100 km/hour in amazing 2.7 seconds, which is an improvement of 0.1 seconds over its 2011 version. The new enhancements in the chassis makes it more stronger with better suspension control, where the new front suspension cam bolts improves the camber accuracy and stability when cornering, and uprated driveshafts for improved reliability.
