Mazda MX-5 Anniversary Edition Unveiled At 2014 New York Auto Show

Mazda has unveiled a new Mazda MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition roadster at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. The special edition model has been developed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mazda MX-5. Alongside the special edition, Mazda also revealed the all-new SKYACTIV-Chassis that underpins the new generation MX-5. Launched back in 1989, the MX-5 has been a consistent performer and has countless fans across some of the major markets. It is lightweight, fun to drive and more affordable than other cars of same category.

The level of success of the MX-5 is underlined by the 940,000 units Mazda has produced till date. Also, the MX-5 holds the Guinness World Record for the best selling two-seater roadster. Acura Unveils 2015 TLX At 2014 New York International Auto Show

Acura has unveiled the 2015 Acura TLX performance-luxury saloon at the 84th New York International Auto Show. Developed under the Red Carpet Athlete Theme, the 2015 TLX features an updated styling, new engines, new technologies and new transmission options. Powering the new TLX is two new, high-output direct injected i-VTEC petrol engines: a 2.4 liter, 4-cylinder unit that produces a decent 206 horses and peak torque of 182 lb.-ft, and a direct injected 3.5 liter SOHC i-VTEC V6 featuring Variable Cylinder Management that  produces 290 hp and peak torque of 267 lb.-ft.

The V6 engine offers 13 lb-ft and 10 hp more than the 2014 TL 3.5 liter engine. The standard 2.4 liter unit is mated with an all new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (8DCT) with torque converter and becomes the world’s DCT  with a torque converter on a production vehicle. Dodge Unveils 2015 Challenger At 2014 New York International Auto Show

Dodge has launched the 2015 Dodge Challenger which arrives with increased power, all new interior, segment first 8-speed auto gearbox, an all new Scat Pack model, Scat Pack Shaker trims and more. Dodge hasn’t given the Challenger a drastic makeover but has definitely made the new model look even more retro. Taking inspiration from the 1971 Challenger, Dodge has restyled the exterior with a redesigned bonnet with a larger bulge, a new split grille, projector fog lights, LED halo headlamps and LED taillamps.

The interior is all new and offers a perfect blend of a retro yet contemporary look and modern features. There is a new 1971-inspired high sill center console, aluminum bezels, driver-focused instrument panel, 14 interior colors and trims, leather high-performance seats and more. Technology upgrades include an all new 8.4-inch touchscreen media center featuring Uconnect Access system, electronic shifter, Keyless Enter ‘n Go with push button start



All-New Honda HR-V Compact SUV First Photos Released: Coming To US This Winter

At the 84th New York International Auto Show, Japanese marque Honda has released the first photos of the all new 2015 Honda HR-V compact SUV. Lately, the number of young buyers have increased by great numbers and therefore Honda wants to leave no stone unturned to grab the attention of this new class of buyers. Expanding its small car lineup, Honda also launched the 2015 Honda Fit subcompact car at the New York Auto Show.
