Celebrating its 100th anniversary in the automotive industry, performance car manufacturer Maserati has unveiled a new sports concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Christened the Maserati Alfieri, this four seater concept that showcases the design trend the brand is going to follow for its future models. Named on Alfieri Maserati, one of the engineering geniuses and the most popular of the Maserati brothers, the concept was created in Turin by a team of young designers who worked under the direction of Marco Tencone.

The whole project was supervised by Lorenzo Ramaciotti and is expected to take production form in the near future. The concept takes inspiration from Maserati A6 GCS-53, a masterpiece that was designed by Pininfarina in the year 1954. In simple words, the Maserati Alfieri is a modern iteration of the A6 GCS-53.
