Lexus NX Crossover Unveiled At Beijing Motor Show

Lexus has finally unveiled the hotly anticipated Lexus NX crossover at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The sharply styled compact crossover will be available in three versions: a hybrid version, a regular petrol and a turbocharged petrol. Of the three, the turbocharged petrol engine is an all new unit developed by Lexus and will debut on the Lexus NX 200t. Lexus will offer the NX in front wheel drive and all wheel drive versions. Additionally, the models will also equip Lexus’s quick-response stop and start system.

The NX range will also come equipped with a host of innovative technologies and features. The long list of features includes a Lexus-first wireless charging tray for mobile phones, new Lexus Remote Touch Interface featuring a touchpad, new Panoramic View Monitor, blind spot monitor, head-up display and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The NX will be available in the following specifications: NX 200, NX 200t



All-New Lexus NX Compact Crossover Launched: First Lexus To Use Turbocharged Engine

Previously, Lexus has previewed the LF-NX Concept crossover at a number of occasions but today, the Japanese marque has launched the production version of the Lexus NX. Apart from the radical design that the SUV carries, it is also the first Lexus vehicle to be powered by a turbocharged engine. The crossover will make it debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show which starts on April 20. Lexus will offer the NX in three forms: NX 200, NX 200t and NX 300h. The NX 200 is the standard model that is powered by a naturally aspirated engine while the ‘t’ in the NX 200t stands for turbocharged and hence it equips a 2.0 liter turbo gasoline engine.
