While this year’s Geneva Motor Show is extremely special as a number of important launches are taking place, for some reasons, the exhibition does disappoint us at the same time. Jaguar was expected to unveil its all new mid sized sports sedan at the exhibition, but unfortunately it did not happen. But the well know British marque did christen its latest sedan as Jaguar XE. The Jaguar XE will be slotted against the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Even though there are plenty of details, in regard to Jaguar XE, which are yet to come out of Jaguar’s stables, the car maker did provide some useful facts about the new car.

The XE sedan will be the first Jaguar product to be based on a new advanced aluminum architecture. This is the same architecture that was used for the Jaguar C-X17 concept car showcased at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
