All-New Volkswagen Golf SportWagen To Debut At New York International Auto Show

At this year’s New York International Auto Show, Volkswagen is going to debut a concept version of the latest member of the SportWagen family. Dubbed Volkswagen Golf SportWagen, the concept model is a station wagon version of the popular Volkswagen Golf and the production model of the same is expected to hit the market in early 2015. The all-new Golf SportWagen is based on the Volkswagen’s MQB platform, which makes it roomier, bigger, lighter and more fuel efficient than the outgoing Jetta SportWagen.

Despite being lighter than Jetta SportWagen, the Golf-based concept is 1.1 inches longer and 0.7 inches wider than the same. The height has also been lowered by 0.9 inches, directly improving the aerodynamic performance of the body. Audi A4 And A5 Ultra Models Launched In UK

Last month Audi launched the A6 equipped with Audi ultra efficiency technology. The new technology seen on the A6 first ensures performance while cutting down emissions and fuel consumption by an appreciable amount. Yesterday, expanding the ultra models lineup in the UK, Audi has launched the A4 Saloon, A4 Avant and A5 Coupe. The Ultra model range is powered by a 2.0 liter TDI engine, which was earlier available on the A5 only but Audi engineers have reworked the same so that it burns fuel in a leaner manner.

The engine is capable on putting out 163 PS of power available between 1200 rpm and 3000 rpm and a peak torque of nearly 400 Nm available from 1750 rpm up to 2750 rpm. On the A5, the engine is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox which helps the car accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.3 seconds and



Volvo has premiered advanced technology with redesigned 2014 Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 at Geneva

Volvo has premiered the latest technology by unveiling the world-first Cyclist Detection featuring the full auto brake technology, with all-new looks of its 60 range consists of 2014 Volvo S60, V60, V60 Plugin-Hybrid and XC60 at the 83rd auto salon of Geneva International Motor Show 2013. The new Volvo XC60, the best selling model of Volvo, has now improved D5 and D4 variants, where D5 now generates 215 horsepower and D4 produces 163 horsepower with a manual gearbox and All-Wheel Drive system, both have combined fuel efficiency of 18.86 km/liter[5.3 liters for 100 km] and CO2 emission of 139 grams/km.

While, the exterior has given an urban look with new hood shape, new headlamps and horizontal lines on the grille with broad looking chrome bars. In the interior, XC60 has now revised by featuring the new wood inlays, new headliner, textile B-pillars and the silk metal frames around the air vents and light controls. Škoda’s technical innovations and simply clever solutions, in the new Skoda Octavia Combi and Octavia sedan, are all showcased at the 83rd Auto Salon of Geneva International Motor Show 2013. It has claimed that it has a fuel efficiency of 69 miles/gallon[i.e. 3.4 liters of diesel/100 km]. Cutting-edge TSI technology has been embedded in all Four petrol engines.
