Cadillac pre-production ELR undergoing winter weather condition testing in Michigan’s U.P.

For the Cadillac, the new year brought great start by winning NAIAS EyesOn Design Awards in production category for the great green car - 2014 Cadillac ELR, when the extended-range of electric luxury coupe gone world debut in January at the North American International Auto Show[NAIAS] 2013, in Detroit. The test team of engineers has done winter weather chassis testing on pre-production ELR models last week in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to assess the ELR handling in winter weather conditions, where more than 4 inches of fresh snowfall has assisted the testing team to verify the final specifications on the ELR’s steering, tires, anti-lock brakes, traction control, electronic stability control and Continuous Damping Control suspension that adjusts damping every 2 milliseconds to maintain optimal control over varying road conditions.

2014 Cadillac ELR – World Premiere at North American International Auto Show 2013 in Detroit

Cadillac is coming-up with a electric luxury coupe equipped with advanced features of Electric Vehicle Technology – the all-new 2014 Cadillac ELR, will be showcased at North American International Auto Show 2013 in DETROIT on January 2013. The Cadillac ELR is fully inspired from the Cadillac Converj Concept model and has a dynamic design.
