Dodge, one of the most versatile manufacturers in the automotive industry, has introduced the upgraded 2014 Dodge Journey which now comes with a Pentastar engine and optional all wheel drive. From 2014 onwards, Dodge is going to offer the Journey SE with the optional Pentastar 3.6 liter V6 engine which is capable of producing best-in-segment 283 hp and peak torque of 260 lb.-ft. The same engine is also available on the SXT and Crossroad trims, while it comes as standard on the R/T and Limited models.

The powerful V6 will be mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox and returns up to 24 mpg on standard models. Also new for 2014 Model Year Journey SE, is the all wheel drive system which will offer extra grip in difficult road conditions, especially for customers who live in rainy areas of in Snow Belt parts of the country.
