Mercedes-Benz Unveils All New Concept Coupe SUV

Talk about Coupe SUVs and the only word that crosses your mind is BMW X6. Until recently there was no competition to the X6 but with the unveiling of Mercedes Benz’s latest creation, it seems the threat is on its way. Mercedes Benz has unveiled the all new Concept Coupe SUV and for sure, it is one of the best attempts by any manufacturer at mixing the utility of an SUV with the sensuousness of a coupe. The design of concept is contemporary and imposing, credit goes to the high beltline, large wheel arches, muscular wings and massive 22 inch wheels.

SsangYong Unveils XLV Hybrid Crossover Concept

At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, SsangYong unveiled the XIV-1 which was the first of the series of multi-interface concepts the south Korean carmaker has planned for the masses. The latest addition to this multi-interface concept series is SsangYong XLV, a hybrid crossover aimed for the B-segment that will underpin many of the future SsangYong models. Volkswagen T-ROC–All New Concept SUV To Dazzle At Geneva Motor Show

At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen is going to debut its latest SUV concept, the Volkswagen T-ROC. The T-ROC is the German manufacturer’s vision of how the brand’s future SUs will look like. In terms of proportion, the T-ROC is 4,179 mm in length, 1,831 mm in width and has a total height of 1,501 mm, which makes it 200 mm shorter than the Tiguan and 300 mm longer than the Taigun concept which is still under its development phase. Just Weighing just 1420 kg, the Volkswagen T-ROC is based on the manufacturer’s latest, modular transverse matrix a.k.a MQB platform.

The front and rear track of the T-ROC stand at 1,578 mm and 1,564 mm respectively, and it has a wheelbase of 2,595 mm. The T-ROC features really short overhands: 811 mm at rear and 772 mm at rear, and rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 245/45 tires.



Kia Niro Concept Crossover Debuts In North America

Last year, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, Kia showcased its latest urban lifestyle concept car called the Kia Niro. Recently, Kia has debuted the same concept crossover for the North American market at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. Although just a concept, it could potentially transform into a strong B-segment contender in the coming years. What will make the Niro stand out from its competition is its propulsion system which uses a combination of an hybrid electric powertrain and an advanced all wheel drive system.

Proportion wise the Niro is 164.8 inches in overall length, 72.8 inches in width and 61.3 inches in height, and features a 102 inch wheelbase. Audi ALLROAD Shooting Brake Concept Unveiled At 2014 NAIAS

A couple of days back we reported Audi is going to showcase an all new concept SUV at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. Well, keeping its promise, Audi has unveiled the Audi AllRoad Shooting Brake Concept at the Detroit Motor Show. The Shooting Brake Concept is based on e-tron quattro configuration, which essentially is a new form Audi has implemented for the very first time. Volkswagen Unveils Beetle Dune Concept In Detroit

Volkswagen has finally unveiled the Beetle Dune Concept at the 2014 North American International Auto Show a.k.a Detroit Motor Show. The Beetle is an iconic car that has been evolving over the decades and the Beetle Dune Concept shows the potential for a new production version ready-to-go-anywhere Beetle. Unlike the standard Beetle which is a more of a hatchback, the Dune concept is an offroader with lots of character. The Dune concept has been presented in “Arizona”, a yellow-orange metallic paint.

Proportion wise the flared wheel housing has widened the Dune’s body by 1.1 inches per side, giving it a total width of 73.4 inches. With the 2014 North American International Auto Show just around the corner, Audi previews its one of the most interesting concepts. The show car is dubbed Audi AllRoad Shooting Brake and is a concept crossover that is not only sport and compact but also versatile in nature. It is based on the e-tron quattro configuration, a new form which equips Audi’s all wheel drive system and a hybrid powertrain which is powerful and efficient at the same time. Volkswagen Dune Concept At Detroit Auto Show

The 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is just a week away and this happens to be the best time to release teasers of to-be-shown cars. Volkswagen for that matter is gearing up with a couple of models including the Passat Sport and the Passat BlueMotion. The next big unveiling to take place from Volkswagen’s booth is of Beetle Dune concept. The German maker has released a sketch of a compact crossover concept based on the iconic Volkswagen Beetle. Lexus LF-NX Concept To Premiere At Tokyo Auto Show With 2.0 L Petrol

A while back at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lexus showcased its radically styled crossover concept, the LF-NX.
