Daimler-BYD Unveil Denza Electric Vehicle In Beijing

Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology, a joint venture between Daimler and BYD has unveiled their first production vehicle at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.  Christened Denza, the all new electric vehicle shows off a perfect blend of Daimler’s expertise in safety technologies and BYD’s advancements in battery technology. The Denza is China’s first all-electric vehicle and is expected to go on sale in September 2014. Pricing will start from RMB 369,000. According to the creators of the car, it is the result of four years of research and development and finally the found the correct formulae for an electric urban commuter.

Denza has been intensively tested for 18 months and covered 1.2 million km across China with over 20 cars being crashed for safety tests. As per Daimler, the car is the first one to be tested under the C-NCAP (China New Car Assessment Program) consumer ratings and earns a



Bentley Hybrid Concept, Continental GT Speed, GT V8 S and Flying Spur Debut In Beijing

China is one of the most important markets for British marque Bentley and at this year’s Beijing Motor Show, the same has unveiled a range of models along with a hybrid concept. The lineup includes the Flying Spur V8, the new Continental GT V8 S, new Continental GT Speed and the Bentley Hybrid Concept. Based on the Bentley Mulsanne flagship model, the Hybrid Concept shows the electric future of Bentley and also focuses on making the best luxury vehicle even better. Being an electric car, Bentley has used copper on the exterior as well as interior, to highlight the electric character.

The Copper accents can be seen on the headlamps, the radiator grille and the entire leather cabin. While the official specifications are yet to be revealed, Bentley claims to have achieved a power gain of 25 % and a reduction of 70 % in the emissions, thanks to the
