Bentley Hybrid Concept, Continental GT Speed, GT V8 S and Flying Spur Debut In Beijing

China is one of the most important markets for British marque Bentley and at this year’s Beijing Motor Show, the same has unveiled a range of models along with a hybrid concept. The lineup includes the Flying Spur V8, the new Continental GT V8 S, new Continental GT Speed and the Bentley Hybrid Concept. Based on the Bentley Mulsanne flagship model, the Hybrid Concept shows the electric future of Bentley and also focuses on making the best luxury vehicle even better. Being an electric car, Bentley has used copper on the exterior as well as interior, to highlight the electric character.

Bentley Continental And Flying Spur Models To Get Performance And Luxury Upgrades

For model year 2014, Bentley has announced some nice changes to its Flying Spur and Continental models. The new Bentley Continental family of cars are going to get a host of luxury and performance upgrade, while the Flying Spur luxury sedan will be available with the efficient yet powerful 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine. Bentley has plans to unveil the upgraded models at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. First and foremost it is the Continental GT Speed, the pinnacle of Continental family, which receives a power and torque boost.

The iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine powering the GT Speed now puts out 635 PS and 820 Nm of peak torque. The top speed has also been increased to 206 mph or 331 km/h, while the convertible model can touch 203 mph or 327 km/h. Bentley To Debut Continental GT V8 S At NAIAS 2014

Bentley registered a 19 % increase in global sales in 2013 which is a record for the brand and to maintain the same pace during 2014, Bentley is going to put up a power packed booth at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Sharing the Bentley stage at the 2014 NAIAS is three models: the Continental GT V8 S, Flying Spur and the Mulsanne. Yes, Bentley will unveil the 2014 Continental GT V8 S for the first time in North America at the Detroit Auto Show. Alongside the GT V8 S, will be Flying Spur which happens to be the world’s fastest four door luxury saloon, and the pinnacle of the luxury range, the Mulsanne.

2014 Power On Ice Driving Experience By Bentley – Details

A year ago Bentley managed to smash the world speed record on ice with a Continental SuperSport Convertible and since then they have developed a strong inclination towards this very type of turf. This is one of the reasons why Bentley came up with its Power On Ice driving experience program and for the year 2014 the brand is back with the same. With just 3 months in hand before the program kicks off, Bentley has released all the details and interestingly there will a lot of new things to look forward to.

The 2014 event is an extended version of the previous program meaning the guests will get more time to polish their skills on ice. Bentley’s luxury performance with new Flying Spur premiered at Geneva Motor Show

Bentley’s new luxury performance sedan of the current season – the new Flying Spur – is live premiered at the Geneva International Motor Show, in Switzerland. The new Flying Spur is loaded with most powerful 12-cylinder twin turbo 6.0 Litre Engine with 48-valve, making it the fastest Bentley 4-door sedan. The W12 engine is capable of generating an output of 616 hp[625 PS] at 6,000 rpm, while a never-give torque of 580 pound feet[800 Nm] at just 2,000 rpm which are the enhancement by the new optimising system which has improved the torque management, turbocharger control, driveability and greater low speed responsiveness. Mated with the W12 is the advanced 8-speed, quick-shift automatic transmission from ZF.
