Bentley Hybrid Concept, Continental GT Speed, GT V8 S and Flying Spur Debut In Beijing

China is one of the most important markets for British marque Bentley and at this year’s Beijing Motor Show, the same has unveiled a range of models along with a hybrid concept. The lineup includes the Flying Spur V8, the new Continental GT V8 S, new Continental GT Speed and the Bentley Hybrid Concept. Based on the Bentley Mulsanne flagship model, the Hybrid Concept shows the electric future of Bentley and also focuses on making the best luxury vehicle even better. Being an electric car, Bentley has used copper on the exterior as well as interior, to highlight the electric character.

Bentley Continental And Flying Spur Models To Get Performance And Luxury Upgrades

For model year 2014, Bentley has announced some nice changes to its Flying Spur and Continental models. The new Bentley Continental family of cars are going to get a host of luxury and performance upgrade, while the Flying Spur luxury sedan will be available with the efficient yet powerful 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine. Bentley has plans to unveil the upgraded models at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. First and foremost it is the Continental GT Speed, the pinnacle of Continental family, which receives a power and torque boost.

The iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine powering the GT Speed now puts out 635 PS and 820 Nm of peak torque. The top speed has also been increased to 206 mph or 331 km/h, while the convertible model can touch 203 mph or 327 km/h. Bentley is all set for the international world debut of its 2013 Continental GT Speed Convertible at North American International Auto Show 2013 in DETROIT on 14th January 2013. Bentley has provided the same heart engine used in Continental GT Speed coupé in the new Continental GT Speed Convertible, making it the world’s fastest 4-seat soft-top with the premium luxury and more refinements. The 12 cylinders 48 valve twin-turbo-charged Engine with 8-speed transmission is capable of generating a horsepower of 616[i.e.

626 PS] and top torque of 590 lb.-ft.[i.e. 800 Nm] from 2000 to 5000 RPM, which gives new GT Speed Convertible enough power to spring 0 to 60 miles/hour in just 4.1 seconds or 0 to 100 km/hour in 4.4 seconds and 0 to 100 miles/hour[i.e. 160 km/hour] in just 9.7 seconds. 2013 Continental GT Speed Coupe Engine & Performance:  The legendary Bentley 48-valve 12 cylinder with 6 Liter capacity, the famous W12 Engine, is one of the power house and center of new Continental GT Speed coupe. The new Continental GT twin turbo-charged W12 engine is capable of producing a horsepower of 616 i.e 460 kilo-Watt at 6000 RPM, making the GT a super coupe.
