Aston Martin Vantage GT And DB9 Carbon Edition At New York International Auto Show

At the 84th New York International Auto Show this week, Aston Martin will unveil two new special edition models exclusively for the North American markets. Celebrating its 101st year in the automotive industry, the British marque shows off two special editions, one based on the iconic V8 Vantage while the other on the timeless DB9. Dubbed V8 Vantage GT and DB9 Carbon Edition, the two special Aston Martins not only talk performance but will also mesmerize the visitors with their alluring looks. The 2015 Vantage GT is powered by a front-mid mounted, 4.7 liter, all alloy, dry-sumped V8 engine which puts out 430 hp of max power at 7300 rpm, enough to propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 190 mph.

Compared to the regular Vantage, the 2015 Vantage GT is more powerful and quicker, thanks to  an aggressive spark



Aston Martin Celebrates Double Triumph in both LMGTE categories at the 6 Hours of Silverstone

Aston Martin celebrated the double triumph in both LMGTE categories at the 6 Hours of Silverstone held on 14th April 2013. Darren Turner, Stefan Mücke and Bruno Senna ran a flawless race to win the Pro class in their car No.97 Vantage V8, having led the race from start to finish, while the #95 car of Danish trio Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian Poulsen and Allan Simonsen won in GT Am class. The race-winning 2013-specification #97 Vantage GTE – with its new V8 power plant and improved dynamics completed 171 laps of the 3.7-mile Silverstone circuit, which is equal to a total race distance of over 630 miles at an average speed of 108 miles/hour.

No.99 Aston Martin Vantage driven by Pedro Lamy (PT), Paul Dalla Lana (CN) and Frédéric Makowiecki (FR) claimed an impressive third position while crossing the line a single lap behind the #97 machine and within thirteen seconds
