2014 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge: Three New Driver Entries

One make race series have become significantly popular in the past few years and one of them is the the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge series. The racing series has grown appreciably in the recent times as a result of which more drivers are showing interest in participating in the arrive-and-drive program. The 2014 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge is going to be even more exciting with the addition of three new drivers including IndyCar and F1 veteran Eliseo Salazar. Starting with the most well known entrant, Eliseo Salazar is a familiar face to North American race fans.

For nearly two decades, Salazar has driven everything from off-road trucks, to Indycars, to sports car prototypes. Aston Martin Celebrates Double Triumph in both LMGTE categories at the 6 Hours of Silverstone

Aston Martin celebrated the double triumph in both LMGTE categories at the 6 Hours of Silverstone held on 14th April 2013. Darren Turner, Stefan Mücke and Bruno Senna ran a flawless race to win the Pro class in their car No.97 Vantage V8, having led the race from start to finish, while the #95 car of Danish trio Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian Poulsen and Allan Simonsen won in GT Am class. The race-winning 2013-specification #97 Vantage GTE – with its new V8 power plant and improved dynamics completed 171 laps of the 3.7-mile Silverstone circuit, which is equal to a total race distance of over 630 miles at an average speed of 108 miles/hour.
