Subaru has made its all new BRZ even more affordable for potential buyers. Yes, it is true. Subaru has revised the pricing of the the BRZ, which is known for thrilling driving experience, and has reduced the starting price by a good £2,500. With the new pricing scheduled to become effective from May 1, the all new BRZ will start from just £23,995. While the £23,995 price tag is for the SE Lux model featuring a manual gearbox, the automatic variant will start from £25,495.
The BRZ is powered by a 2.0 liter Boxer petrol engine positioned horizontally for a low center of gravity. The power and torque generated by the potent engine is delivered to the rear wheels.
Talking about the specifications and available equipment, the BRZ SE Lux equips a number of features as standard. These include Torsen rear-axle differential, leather and Alcantara trimmed seats, steering mounted shift paddles and more.
The top of the line, All-Wheel Drive WRX STI saloon has also seen a price cut. The same will be available in the showrooms starting this May and will start from £28,995 – a great £4,000 benefit over its predecessor.
Paul Tunnicliffe, Managing Director of Subaru UK, said “A more favourable exchange rate between the pound and yen has allowed us to reduce the price of a number of models in recent years, and our performance range – the BRZ and WRX STI – are the latest to benefit. Together, they represent outstanding value for enthusiast drivers seeking a high level of performance, driver interaction and entertainment on the road.”
