The Rolls-Royce’s luxury styling in the Wraith’s interior and exterior design, can’t take your’s eyes off, is making its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show, in Switzerland. While on the other hand, you see the power house is equipped with V12 engine which is capable of producing an output of 624 horsepower[465 kilowatt], by matting the 8-speed automatic ZF transmission in the V12 engine, it can dash 0 to 60 miles/hour in just 4.4 seconds which if we compare with the Ghost model which is powered-by 563 hp[420 kilowatt] is able to sprint 0 to 60 miles/hour in 4.7 seconds, which shows the improved performance of new Wraith. While the Wraith has top torque of 800 Newton meter at a low revving rate of 1500 rpm which as compared to the Ghost model has a 20 Nm improvement.
In the premium exterior, Wraith is features the unique character. Bold lines, tension in the panels, a sporty raked rear screen, unique two-tone presentation with deeply recessed grille and wide rear track. In the luxury of interior, Wraith is elegantly loaded with softest Phantom-grade leathers and expanses of wood called Canadel Panelling. The interior space is giving similar essence of an ultra-luxury yacht. It is also has the similarity in which the horseshoe sweep of Wraith’s cabin also echoes the cove at Le Canadel in the South of France where Sir Henry Royce and his design team spent their winters. The interior ambiance is complemented by Starlight Headliner and customization is also available beyond Phantom family cars for the first time. 1,340 fibre optic lamps are hand-woven into the roof lining to give the impression of a glittering, starry night sky.
The various advanced technology and equipment includes debut of Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT) technology which is a really advance feature which analyses the driver’s movement based on the location and current driving style, then selects the most appropriate gear for the terrain ahead, suspension has also been tuned to minimize body roll and discreetly amplify feedback when cornering and steering weight is heavier at high speeds and lighter at low speeds adding to the spirited drive, head-up display, adaptive headlights, Wraith’s keyless opening boot, Voice activation commands on touch of a call button located on the steering wheel and route assistance starts instantly on-screen and via audio guidance following a voice command. With addition to this, the Ecstasy Rotary Controller which makes navigation through on-screen functions using a touch pad that features pinch and pull functionality to echo smart phone usage.
The new Rolls-Royce Wraith will be priced at € 245k in Europe and for the rest of the market, the pricing details will be announced later in 2013, while the Wraith will be delivered to the customers in the last quarter of 2013.
