Renault Captur a fun to drive user friendly urban compact crossover at Geneva Motor Show

Renault showcased the new Renault Captur - in unique segment which is featuring the style of a Crossover, user friendly interior and fun to drive urban compact crossover - at the most prestigious European auto exhibit of Geneva International Motor Show, in Switzerland.

The new Renault Captur is equipped with petrol and diesel variants, in which the petrol variants are comprised of Energy TCe 90 which has an output of 90 horsepower and fuel economy of 20.40 km/liter[4.9 liters for 100 km], while a CO2 emission of 113 grams/km, and other petrol variant of more power is TCe 120 EDC which has an output of 120 horsepower and fuel consumption of 18.51 km/liter[5.4 liters for 100 km], while a CO2 emission of 125 gram/km. The diesel engines variant comprised of Energy dCi 90 which has an output of 90 horsepower with fuel economy of 27.02 km/liter[3.7 liters for 100 km] and a CO2 emission of  95 grams/km, while other diesel variant which will be available later is dCi 90 EDC2, it will have an output of 90 horsepower and a target fuel economy of 24.39 km/liter[4.1 liters for 100 km] and target CO2 emission of 104 grams/km.

The other eye-catching interior and exterior features of Renault Captur includes one of several interior decor colours: grey, ivory, chrome, orange, blue or green for the air vent, centre console and loudspeaker surrounds, as well as for the drawer-type Easy Life glove box. These colours are echoed by the upholstery, the colour of the wheels, a choice of four non-removable upholsteries for the first two equipment levels, plus a range of eight Zip Collection zipped seat covers as options for the second equipment and standard for the third equipment level, decor graphics for the bonnet and roof or tailgate.

Also in the Captur impressive features, the range of themed decor packs to embellish the steering wheel and upholstery and co-ordinate them with the exterior graphics, two-tone paintwork to provide a contrast between the roof and pillars, the rest of the body and a light or black interior trim, new connected in-dash Renault R-Link touchscreen multimedia tablet, Bluetooth® connectivity, plus a system that comprises six loudspeakers, and audio-streaming and Arkamys® hi-fi sound.

The standard technology featurs in the Renault Captur includes the Keyless entry and starting is standard across the range, while a hands-free key card is available for the second equipment level and upwards, hill Start Assist across the range, welcome lighting and indirect ambient lighting above the Easy Life drawer, from the second equipment level upwards, rear parking sensors (audible signal) and reversing camera as part of MEDIA NAV or R-Link packs, cornering lights: automatic activation of the appropriate fog light to light up the inside of a corner and provide the driver with a wider field of view, the height-adjustable driver’s seat has 70mm of travel so that drivers of all sizes can find a comfortable driving position and motorway mode indicators: a single flick produces three flashes.
