Peugeot with one of its most attractive Urban Compact Crossover – Peugeot 2008, the new definition to the Crossover segment by its sporty design, agile driving experience with best comfort and equipment, showcased at the all-favorite Salon International De l’Auto in Geneva 2013.
Peugeot 2008 is equipped with impressive interior which includes a smart satin chrome finish to the air vents, handbrake lever, steering wheel, gear lever and touch-screen trims all add to the level of luxury and create a genuinely premium feel, various Drive modes where switching from the standard mode can be done from the dial located on the centre console, here driver can choose as per the situation – Snow Mode, Off-Road Mode, Sand or ESP Off Mode, folding the 60:40 split rear seats boosts storage volume from 360 to 1,194 litres, of which 22 litres are under the floor with a touch of a button, offers ample space for both the driver and passengers with flexible cabin, with a cockpit-style instrument panel and aircraft-type handbrake, a 12v power socket for the connection of a portable device and can even access the boot when the vehicle is moving.
Peugeot 2008 is best blend with characteristic of a hatchback[Peugeot 208] and driving dynamics of a SUV like in Peugeot 3008, the new 2008 Crossover carries a length of 4.16 meters The front grille design and rear/front lights are inspired from 208, while SUV like interior space, dynamics and comfort. The inspired RCZ sports Coupe like roof-line dynamic curves with elegant roof-line design which is quite noticeable and optimizes the aerodynamic performance with the help of an integrated spoiler, extended over the top of the tailgate. It has 17 inch alloy wheels and has same Grip Control traction system like in the 3008 for off-road characteristics and have Front-wheel drive (FWD) layout.
Peugeot 2008 featured with advanced technology which includes a new Grip Control system for better on-road handling by optimises traction in low-grip conditions, Park Assist system for making parking easy with the technology of ultrasound to measure an empty space then controls the steering to position the vehicle perfectly, a large 7-inch touch screen is at the driver’s fingertips and by minimising commands for control of the infotainment system it allows the driver to keep his eyes on the road ahead, Cruise control with speed limiter is standard on all versions, Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD), as is Isofix mountings for child seats in the rear, Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR), Stability Control (CDS) and 6 airbags – two front, two side and two curtain.
The new 2008 will proceed for sale in UK in the last of summer and order can be booked from June.

In the months following its launch, the Peugeot 2008’s engine range will add further versions of the turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine, with two power outputs available: 1.2-litre e-THP 110 and 1.2-litre e-THP 130.
