Nissan showcased its enhanced model line-up featuring the next-generation technology, best efficiency and performance at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland.
2013 Nissan GT-R : The 2013 Nissan GT-R made its European debut with more technical improvement and enhancement, which delivers best driving dynamics with high performance. Under the hood, 2013 GR-R is loaded with 3.8 Litre V6 Engine which has new high-output injectors to deliver precise control over fuelling, a new relief valve for the turbocharger which delivers enhanced turbo response and maintains throttle response. All these improvements in the 2013 GT-R makes it sprint 0 to 100 km/hour in amazing 2.7 seconds, which is an improvement of 0.1 seconds over its 2011 version. The new enhancements in the chassis makes it more stronger with better suspension control, where the new front suspension cam bolts improves the camber accuracy and stability when cornering, and uprated driveshafts for improved reliability.
Nissan Juke n-tec : The new Juke n-tec is a Nissan’s special edition compact Crossover debut at Geneva. It is equipped with many advanced features like 5.8-inch colour touchscreen, satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and music players, the new system incorporates Google’s Send-To-Car technology, also advanced function like a motorway ‘exit view’ complete with lane guidance to help when leaving highways, displays prevailing speed limits and Over-Speed warning alert. In the exterior beauty, the new Juke n-tec has stylish 18-inch black and silver alloy wheels and offered in any colour from Juke’s eight-shade palette and there are three interior colours available: grey, red and a new light grey featuring the unique centre console, inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank, is finished in carbon black in n-tec models.
There are three engine options with one diesel and two petrol. The 1.5 Litre dCi diesel variant has an output of 110 PS which is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission, while it generates low CO2 emission of 124 grams/km. The naturally aspirated 1.6 Litre petrol generates an output of 117 PS which is offered with either a 5-speed manual or an advanced XTRONIC CVT gearbox. Nissan’s Stop/Start System is available on manual versions and helps reduces CO2 levels from 139 grams/km to 136 grams/km. The top range in engine is impressive 1.6 Litre DIG-T[Direct Injection Gasoline - Turbocharged], which is a compact 4-cylinder engine uses direct petrol injection coupled with a turbocharger to develop an amazing output of 190 PS with front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual gearbox, while the four-wheel drive vaiant features the Nissan’s XTRONIC M-CVT transmission with a 6-speed manual mode.
Nissan Juke n-tec, which will be available in showrooms across Europe from March, features the new generation Nissan Connect infotainment system with remote connectivity as standard.
Nissan Resonance Concept: The concept model is presented with a highly efficient hybrid electric drivetrain which is offers Eco-friendly personal mobility of a Crossover. The Resonance All-Wheel Drive system deliver through Nissan’s innovative ‘one-motor, two-clutch’ system that combines a small displacement petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium ion battery. While the drive is distributed to the wheels via Nissan’s next-generation Xtronic CVT transmission.
The aggressive and futuristic exterior design with the virtue of Green initiative in the Crossover segment, is a clean edge design with full use of aerodynamics, which is quite noticeable The V-Motion front design in which front grille goes from hood and deep into the attractive boomerang shaped headlights. While the exterior body has strong surface with sexy line finishing. The distinctive roof floating design using a full size glass panel, is perfectly matched with the big size windows and the large space inside. The aggression can be seen in the unique name exterior color- Flare Orange – which is depicts the full source of energy while the flowing design 22 inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a tinted acrylic grille with Satin Chrome accents.
The interior with class-leading modern and traditional feel is quite notice in the first look, the premium-stitched light and buttery leather seats is presenting the VIP lounge ambiance. The lighten interior makes sophistication in the modern cabin with natural wood design. The center console with advanced instrument panel present the driving luxury with the all infotainment and communication features. While the panoramic view through wide open glass roof is most pleasurable. The ample space inside will make your journey more comfortable and sweet.
Juke Nismo :The compact crossover Juke Nismo has all-alluring radical design by mixing sports coupe lines and the SUV styling with new aerodynamic body kit. The exterior body features the lower front and rear bumpers and sill side skirts, plus a modified grille and tailgate spoiler to better control airflow. In addition to the attraction, it is also featured with new 18-inch stylish alloy wheels with wider tyres offer improved grip.
Juke Nismo is powered by the Nissan’s 1.6-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine, which can generate an upgraded output of 200 PS[ 197.3 hp or 147 kilowatt], and a torque 250Nm. The driving dynamics are enhanced with stiffened suspension settings and new steering modifications for sportier direct handling and improved traction control, also the new model will also be available with torque vectoring (only 4WD), for better grip and cornering capacity. The options available to the customers are a 2WD model with a 6-speed manual transmission, or 4WD with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with 7-speed manual mode, tuned for Nismo.
370Z Nismo : Nissan’s impressive new Nismo range - 370Z NISMO - is showcase at Geneva, which will be offered with upgraded powertrain of 3.7 Litre DOHC V6 Engine, capable of producing an upgraded output of 344 PS[340 hp 253 kilowatt] and top torque of 371 Nm, that makes it sprint 0 to 62 miles/hour in only 5.2 seconds.
It will available only as a coupe with a 6-speed manual gearbox, featuring a distinct specification designed for the Europe customers. The technically advanced driving dynamics for better handling and comfort,with the rear- wheel drive for exciting driving experience. Enhancing braking by introducing the high rigidity brake hose and high performance brake fluid from the R35 GT-R. An exclusive Nismo dual exhaust system also enhances and amplifies the thrilling sound of the Nismo Z.
Nissan LEAF : The European-manufactured Nissan’s new Note is presented with a world debut at the Geneva. The Zero Emission mobility is showcased with advanced technology by introducing the Safety Shield to the B-segment with the convenience of Nissan’s Around View Monitor parking aid system, Safety Shield introduces Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection in one accessible package. All these advanced technology in a compact car provide better safety inside and outside.
The new Nissan Leaf now can be charged in up to half the time with improved driving range of 199 km, redesigned the chassis to improve dynamic handling and repackaging the car to improve space. European engineered new LEAF is developed by European workers, with European manufactured components.
Nissan NOTE : The new Nissan Note is introduced to capture the B-segment with the dynamic design, advanced technology featured with Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection with the capabilities of Around View Monitor combined with Nissan Safety Shield to offer better safety inside and outside, low CO2 emissions from only 95 grans/km with stop-start as standard across the range and also featuring the accessible, affordable package.
The new Note’s engine and gearbox range is packed with clever features that enhance both efficiency and drivability, it includes four engine and transmission choices, and Nissan’s intelligent stop-start ignition system is fitted to all models, further boosting efficiency and minimising CO2 emissions.
Nissan Qashqai 360 : The new Nissan Qashqai 360 crossover is packed with advanced technology like Around View Monitor, Nissan Connect fitted as standard, Shazam and QR code technology to connect consumers to Qashqai information and also featuring the panoramic sunroof and gloss black roof rails and mirror caps. The most popular variant with 1.6 dCi diesel engine which offers the Stop/Start technology for CO2 emissions of just 119g/km and 4.5 l/100km (62.8mpg) on the combined cycle.
Featuring the gloss black roof rails and mirror caps, unique 18-inch machine-finish black alloy wheels, and privacy glass and a luxurious panoramic glass roof are also standard. In the interior, there are part leather seats, door trims and armrest, a gloss black gear shift surround and door handles and in the exterior color it is available in all the existing Qashqai colours as well as Pearl White.
