Enhancing the lineup with an interestingly eco-friendly model, MINI has unveiled the all new MINI Cooper T. The New Cooper T is the first vehicle in the world to be powered by tea-leaf biofuel composite.
On a single cup of fuel, the new MINI Cooper T is capable of covering up to 64 kilometers or 40 miles. The same is available in a variety of colors including Red Bush, Chamomile Yellow and Earl Grey, and comes loaded with all the standard features as available on other MINI models. The list of features include ABS, DSC, VVT, Dunk Avoidance Technology (DAT) and more. The new DAT system used on the car is a filtration system that will stop passersby from dipping their snacks into Cooper T’s fuel tank.
Talking about the new Cooper T, Dr. Ivana Kupp, head of Cooper T engineering said, “This particular project has been brewing for years. Our extensive research has shown that the nation’s favourite drink is also an ideal biofuel. We already know good things come in small packages, but with Cooper T customers benefitting from up to 40 miles per cup, we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring this car to market.”
Starting from April 1, interested customers from the Gloucestershire area will be able to try the new Cooper T, while the official launch is expected to happen in the following month.
