Mercedes-Benz’s performance division AMG,in collaboration with Cigarette Racing has developed two visionary super sports concepts that are ready to be unveiled at the 2014 Miami International Boat Show scheduled to take place on February 13, 2014. This is the fourth consecutive these two legendary brands have joined hands to develop futuristic vehicles.
The first of the two cars is the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo, a radical looking sports car developed specially for the the new PlayStation3 racing game Gran Turismo 6. The car is extremely eye catching and packs a punch under the hood. Powering the Vision Gran Turismo is a AMG developed V8 engine that is capable of putting out 577 hp (430 kW) of peak power and a max torque of 590 lb-ft.
As mentioned above, the concept sports car is radical from head to toe. Some of the highlights include extraordinary headlights, an expressive hood, red contour lines, exterior ambient lighting, silver-painted bodywork, Formula 1 inspired cockpit with a two seat configuration, red integral sports seats, gullwing door style dashboard, contours on the sides of the body, and more.
The other, and equally interesting, concept to be showcased is the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept. It is a special model developed and built by Cigarette Racing and is the most power production twin engine performance boat ever manufactured by the company. The boat will have an Alubeam painted exterior featuring a custom matte black hull and accents.
The boat is 50′ in length and 8′ in width and is powered by twin 1650 hp Mercury Racing engines which produce 300 hp per engine. A lot of constructional changes have been adopted to bring down the weight of the vehicle by approximately 1000 lbs. The boat can achieve a top speed of 140 mph.
As for the highlights are concerned, the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept features carbon fiber dash panels, a black interior with black alcantara accents, silver face gauges, Bluetooth connectivity, computerized controls, four high-definition displays, and next generation Garmin and Cigarette navigation and audio systems. It is priced at USD $1.5 million.
