McLaren Releases First Images Of MSO 650S Coupe Concept

McLaren’s bespoke division, the McLaren Special Operations, has released the first image of the MSO 650S Coupe Concept. This latest model that joins the McLaren’s lineup showcases a variety of upgrades available for the McLaren 650S Spider and 650S Coupe. Over the coming weeks, McLaren will be showing the MSO 650S Coupe concept at various places across China. Talking about the appearance first, the MSO-built concept features a number of subtle bodily and interior upgrades. For instance, the exterior of the car is painted in Agrigan Black, a unique metallic black shade developed with a ruby red metallic flake.

In the night the car appears black whereas under direct sunlight it changes its color dramatically. Complementing the exclusive paint is an array of carbon fiber highlights finished in satin. McLaren 650S Coupe And Spider Pricing Announced For US

At the Geneva Motor Show, McLaren presented its latest creation to the world. Christened the McLaren 650S, the car takes the best from its siblings – the McLaren 12C and McLaren P1. Just before the car’s official debut in Geneva, bringing the curiosity to an end, McLaren had revealed 650S’ specifications and performance figures along with the European pricing. Now, just ahead of the 650S’ North American debut which is scheduled to take place at the 2014 New York International Auto Show, following the same pattern as it did earlier, McLaren has announced the US pricing for both the coupe and spider models.

While we were expecting McLaren to announce the pricing and performance figures of the McLaren 650S at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the manufacturer has revealed the figures well ahead of the official debut. So without wasting any time, let us get started. The latest super car offering from McLaren can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds and can reach 124 mph in an astonishing 8.4 seconds. With that much sprint power the car can cover 400 meters in just 10.5 seconds, while attaining a top speed of 207 mph or 333 km/h.
