While most of the manufacturers readying their completely new models for Geneva unveiling, some manufacturers are eyeing at potential customers by introducing visual and performance packages for their existing models. The best example we have here is Land Rover, which is going to launch two new packs for the iconic Land Rover Defender.
These ultra cool visual packs are called ‘Black Pack’ and ‘Silver Pack’ and will have their own set of unique features. Apart from the new features coming with these special packs, Land Rover will also offer plenty of optional features such as an aluminium finished side runners, contrast finish leather seats, privacy glass, and an ebony Alston headliner.
The two new option packs are available on the Land Rover Defender XS. The Black Pack features a Santorini black finish for the roof, grille, grille surround, headlamp surrounds, wheel arches, ‘Defender’ bonnet badge and interior. An ebony Alston headliner and privacy glass would also be offered. The Black Pack will also contain two alloy wheel options: gloss black Sawtooth and new gloss black heavy duty.
The Silver Pack adds contrast roof, grille surround, headlamp surrounds and facia, all finished in bright Indus silver. The pack also includes standard Dual Finish alloy wheels and a bright light pack which adds white indicator and tail lights.
The Privacy glass will come as standard on the black pack and adds darkened glass for the third and second row windows. The interior has been improved by the addition of the new ebony Alston headliner on all XS models. The side runners will now feature a silver finish, giving a contrasting and elegant look to the car. This would work in favor of customers opting for the Silver Pack, especially.
The Defender will also come with optional premium leather seats featuring Windsor leather inserts and a choice of three color combinations: Ebony/Pimento, Ebony/Tan or Ebony/Lunar.
