Keeping its promise of introducing world class products to the Australian automotive market, Holden has introduced two new models – the Holden Cruze Z-Series and Cruze SRi Z-Series. The new introductions are expected to be available in Holden dealerships this week. The new performance models replace the outgoing Cruze CDX and SRi-V models, and offer even more features and performance for the same price.
Starting with the Cruze Z-Series first, it is available only in sedan guise and adds an optional manual transmission to the long list of features. The standard equipment list offers leather-appointed seats, MyLink infotainment system, Voice Recognition with Siri, 7-inch colour touchscreen, parking sensors, reverse camera and push buttons start. Additionally, the model will also offer “Z-Series” floor mats, exterior “Z-Series” badge, sill plates, rear lip spoiler and dark finished 17-inch alloys.
Moving on to the Cruze SRi Z-Series, which is available in both sedan and hatchback guises, it comes with satellite navigation, sports suspension, sports body kit and a standard 1.6 liter turbocharged engine. Other highlights include exterior “Z-Series” badge, sill plates, alloy pedal covers, “Z-Series” floor mats, sports spoiler (hatchback models) and dark finished 18-inch alloys.
As far as the pricing is concerned, celebrating the arrival of the new models, Holden is launching the same at special prices:
- Cruze Z-Series sedan with 1.8 litre engine and manual transmission: $22,990
- Cruze SRi Z-Series with 1.6 litre turbocharged engine and manual transmission: $27,990
