Volkswagen new e-up! the advanced compact EV set to premiere at Frankfurt Motor Show  Volkswagen is coming-up with a zero-emission compact car – the e-up! a new Electric Vehicle[EV] , which will be premiered with an advanced electric technology, at the 65th Frankfurt International Motor Show[IAA - Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung or International Automobile Exhibition], in Germany, starting from September, 12th to 22nd, 2013 . The new EV from Volkswagen, is a four-seater vehicle and has a day-to-day practicality with an impressive driving range of 150 kilometers/93.2 miles[as per NEDC] on a single charge and technicality of recharging the car by 80% of its storage capacity within 30 minutes.

The electric motor vehicle has almost zero noise and a maximum power output of 82 PS[81 hp or 60 kilowatt] and a peak torque of 210 Nm with smooth gearshift. While it has an available continuous power output of 55 PS[54.3 hp or 40 kilowatt]. It can dash 0 to 100 km/hour within 14 seconds with a top-speed of 135 km/hour[83.88 miles/hour].
