The European market is one of the most demanding ones in the entire of the world and manufacturers consider the same very seriously. Ford is one of the major global players and in the recent times, it has started focusing more on the European continent.
Last year, Ford unveiled the Ford Mondeo Vignale Concept and taking the Vignale lineup ahead, the US major has unveiled the Ford S‑MAX Vignale Concept yesterday in Milan, Italy. The Vignale model range is all about exclusive specification, premium design and craftsmanship, and Ford is all set to put the two to the production lines.
As far as the availability of the Vignale range is concerned, the Mondeo Vignale will be available next year while the S‑MAX Vignale is expected to follow shortly. Ford will also start a ‘Vignale Lounge’ retail program in select retail stores in Europe, along with a Vignale lifestyle collection.
Talking about the design of the S-MAX Vignale, the sharp and sleek exterior of the standard S-MAX has been given a new direction. The concept car is even more sharp-looking, sleek and features a dynamic roof arc. Exclusive features of the concept car include 21-inch Vignale alloy wheels, chrome mirror caps, jewelry-like appliques, a unique Vignale grille and an ultra-exclusive Milano Grigio pearlescent exterior paint.
The interior of the S-MAX Vignale is equally exclusive and offers features like high-quality soft-touch leather with detailing in woven texture-embossed aluminium, Vignale-embossed seating with hexagonal design quilting and more. To offer a contrasting feel to the car, Ford has used a dark color scheme for the interior, accentuated by premium hand-stitched leathers. Ford has also used metallic textures on areas like behind the steering wheel and passenger-side dashboard. Furthermore, as a touch of exclusivity, these is a brush-painted panel with aluminium Vignale lettering just above the central panel.
