The Trax will be available in three trims: LS, LT and LTZ.
Performance will come from a 4-cylinder, Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine which has a rated output of 138 hp and peak torque of 148 lb-ft available between 1850 rpm and 4900 rpm. Paired to the turbocharged engine is a Hydra-Matic 6T40 6-speed automatic gearbox featuring TAPShift control.
Safety has been one of the strong points of Chevrolet produces and the Trax will be no exception. The SUV will come equipped with ABS, EBD, standard rearview camera, cornering brake control brake assist, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, rollover mitigation, traction control, 10 standard airbags (side curtain airbags, driver and passenger frontal and knee airbags, thorax air bags) and more.
