Chevrolet has revealed six new concept trucks and SUVs at the 2013 SEMA show, he annual convention of automotive performance parts and styling accessories. Namely four vehicles – 2014 Silverado 1500, all-new 2015 Silverado HD, Tahoe and Suburban, have been presented in a variety of styling featuring loads of personalization and performance upgrades.
The concepts include the performance-oriented, lightweight Silverado Cheyenne, a Brad Paisley signature-edition concept, a sinister-looking all-black Tahoe and a Tahoe police vehicle. In addition to the mentioned concepts, Chevrolet is also showing the Silverado Black Ops and Volunteer Firefighter concepts at SEMA 2013. The accessories used on these concepts are Chevrolet exclusive and are available at most of the Chevrolet dealerships.

Silverado Cheyenne concept
It is a performance-oriented concept of the all-new 2014 Silverado regular cab, with a reduced curb weight and upgraded performance thanks to an all new 420-horsepower 6.2L V-8 engine. Highlights of the concept include a lowered ride height, a rear stabilizer bar, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, charcoal-painted 19-inch Camaro Z/28 aluminum wheels wrapped in high-performance tires, carbon fiber replacements for the bumpers, tailgate and inner cargo box and much more. The all-new EcoTec3 6.2L V-8 powering the concept truck puts out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Brad Paisley Signature Silverado
This concept has been built in collaboration with Brad Paisley. It features a custom paint job, high-performance accents, a lowered stance and an amped-up sound system. Highlights of the concept include Paisley’s logo as a styling element, a performance-oriented hood extractor vent, a tailgate aero lip, black tubular assist steps, Chevrolet Accessories 22-inch wheels (custom-painted matte black), Chevrolet Accessories chrome tow hooks, a spray-in bedliner with an integrated Chevrolet bowtie logo, red brake calipers, a Borla performance exhaust system and more.
On the inside it equips a rear-seat entertainment system and a Kicker subwoofer, blue suede inserts in the black leather seats (accented with blue stitching) and additional anodized blue interior trim.
Tony Stewart Silverado concept
This Silverado LTZ Z71 concept was designed in conjunction with Stewart and features Smokegraphics, a Dark Tarnished Silver color, tinted headlamps and taillamps, a tonneau cover, four-inch chrome assist steps, 22-inch wheels with a custom finish, and several other Chevrolet Accessories.
Silverado Volunteer Firefighter concept
Chevrolet developed the Silverado Z71 Volunteer Firefighter concept to honor the service of first responders. It is essentially a new Silverado Double Cab equipped with the Z71 Off-Road suspension and a host of rescue equipment incorporated in it. The features list includes Chevrolet Accessory six-spoke 22-inch wheels with custom-painted finish, Emergency roof light bar and additional light-emitting diode, or LED, perimeter lighting, Chevrolet Accessory six-inch chrome assist steps, Chevrolet Accessory chrome package: door handles and mirror caps, Chevrolet Accessory molded hood protector, Red and Silver paint scheme with custom graphics, Emergency siren and public address system, Chrome fire extinguishers and mounting hardware, Chevrolet Accessory gull-wing tool box, Custom billet aluminum front brush guard and billet aluminum bed rails, Axe and Halligan tool, Cantilever cab-over TracRac with custom brushed aluminum finish and re-trimmed front seats with 3M reflective bolster material and Torch Red stitching.
Silverado Black Ops concept
This truck is designed to be ready for anything and thereby offer support in an emergency. It features custom-fabricated lower body armor, a lockable bed-mounted Truck Vault storage unit holding a solar power pack, a pair of gas masks, gloves, military first aid kit, folding shovel and rope, raised suspension, custom bed rails and a light bridge – equipped with forward and rearward facing light bars, Chevrolet Accessories bolt-on fender flares and four-inch tubular assist steps, off-road tires mounted on custom-painted versions of the production Z71 18-inch wheels, custom-trimmed black seats with yellow piping complement, Chevrolet’s MyLink system with available navigation featuring complemented by an eight-inch color touch screen and much more.
Silverado HD Dually tow concept
Showing off the capabilities of the all-new 2015 Silverado HD lineup at the SEMA show is the Silverado HD Dually Tow concept. It features a custom Ice Blue exterior color, custom lightweight aluminum wheels, six-inch chrome assist steps, a tool box and bed lights. The HD Dually tow vehicle is powered by the 6.0L gas engine and six-speed automatic transmission.
Suburban Half-Pipe concept
The 2015 Suburban Half-Pipe Concept is more of an outgoing vehicle and features Chevrolet Accessories’ roof rack and crossbars to mount skis and other equipment, Chevrolet Accessories 22-inch wheels with center caps, a Blu-ray-based rear-seat entertainment system, leather-trimmed seats and fold-flat second- and third-row seats.
Tahoe Black concept
Black looks aggressive and so is the Tahoe Black concept. The dark appearance of the all-new 2015 Tahoe is complemented by features like blacked-out exterior trim, Chevrolet Accessories 22-inch wheels custom-painted dark gray, tinted headlamp lenses and tinted windows all around and an aero-style body package. The cabin of the Tahoe is trimmed in black leather with Carbon Flash Metallic trim accents.
Tahoe Police concept
Along with the Tahoe Black, Chevrolet has also developed a police version of the car. It offers a look at what the law enforcement vehicles of the near future will look like. The concept features Tahoe 9C1 police package’s standard equipment which includes a 5.3L V-8 engine rated at 355 horsepower, a six-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch steel wheels, police-specific suspension and auxiliary battery for emergency equipment.
