Volkswagen has unveiled the seventh generation Golf GTI for the US market which, as per the carmaker, is bigger, lighter, more fuel efficient and faster than the previous generation model. Not only that, the new generation GTI also offers more trunk space and bears a lower price tag. Wasting no more time, let us start with the looks first. The 2015 Golf GTI looks pretty much the same except for some changes including a tweaked front that features a bright-red horizontal graphic, sharper headlights, a sleeker grille and new body lines.

As far as the characteristic changes are concerned, compared to the standard Golf models, the GTI one gets standard LED foglights, red brake calipers, bespoke GTI alloy wheels, side skirts, unique rear diffuser, roof spoiler and bright dual exhaust tips.
