Ram has launched the 2014 Ram Power Wagon pickup truck which is said to be the most capable off-road pickup yet. Making a comeback this year, the new Power Wagon is based on the Dodge Power Wagon military trucks produced during the second World War and features a new suspension, frame and a 6.4 liter V8 engine. Starting with the new engine first, the 2014 Power Wagon is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 unit which delivers best-in-class power of 410 hp at 5,600 rpm and peak torque of 429 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm, good enough to two a max of 10,810 pounds.

The engine has been specifically tuned and calibrated to make it capable of doing exciting things on some of the toughest terrains. Helping the 2014 Power Wagon perform like a proper off-roader is a set of electronically locking axles featuring Ram’s Articulink system that ensure maximum traction.
