2014 Thruxton Easter Revival Early Birds To Get A Ride In Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin Or Audi

In the late sixties, Thruxton became one of the popular places for racing enthusiasts as F2 race meetings were held on Easter bank holiday. After more than five decades, the Easter meeting returned to Thruxton in 2013 and response was overwhelming. Called Thruxton Easter Revival, the race meeting will be conducted this year as well and is expected to be even bigger. Fans who are planning to buy the tickets for the event would be pleased to know that early ticket purchases could get the buyers a ride in of the six amazing supercars at the race track.

New Audi R18 e-tron Quattro Unveiled For 2014 WEC

Making its first appearance in a rather unusual way, the new R18 e-tron quattro race care by Audi was seen burning the rubber on public roads and not on a race track. All set for the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship, the new Audi R18 e-tron quattro did its initial kilometers in public traffic and driving it was Tom Kristensen, record holder of the Le Mans 24 hours with 9 victories to date. Toyota Unveils TS040 Hybrid Race Car For 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship

The FIA World Endurance Championship is one of the most thrilling racing series and with less than a month to spare before the new season kicks off, Toyota has take the wraps off its 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship race car. Giving a new direction to its motorsport activities, Toyota has unveiled the new TS040 Hybrid race car that will debut on 20th April at the Six Hours of Silverstone race. To beat competitors like Porsche and Audi one needs power and the TS040 Hybrid is full of it. Powered by an interesting powered, the TS040 Hybrid produces a max of 986 hp or 736 kW.

Of the whopping 986 hp, 513 hp is produced from a 3.7 liter V8 petrol unit, while the remaining 473 hp comes as an all-wheel drive hybrid boost. The powertrain has been changed in accordance with the revised WEC technical regulation as per which
