Audi has unveiled an all new hybrid concept car at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. This four door, radical looking concept is called Audi TT Offroad Concept and it is based on, you guessed it, the new generation Audi TT. The TT Offroad Concept is a capable utility vehicle which has a coupe-like styling and features a hybrid powertrain, meaning it would deliver astounding performance without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Powering the plug-in hybrid is a combination of drivetrains: a 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine and two electric motors.

The 2.0 liter TFSI petrol heart produces 292 PS and peak torque of 380 Nm. Paired to the internal combustion engine via a separating clutch is an electric motor that delivers an additional 40 kW and peak torque of 220 Nm.
