BMW has premiered its new Concept X4 at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, along with the attractive lineup display of BMW X5 xDrive 35i, BMW X6 xDrive 40i, BMW X6 M, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, BMW i8 Concept, BMW i3 Concept, BMW Concept Active Tourer, BMW ActiveHybrid 7, BMW ActiveHybrid 3, BMW 740Li , BMW 530i Accessories, BMW 535i Gran Turismo, BMW Individual 650i xDrive Gran Coupe, BMW 535Li, BMW 118i and BMW 125i.
BMW Concept X4 : Joining the BMW’s line up of X series following X1, X3, X5 and X6, BMW Concept X4 is being touted as the future of the BMW’s X generation. The BMW Concept X4 wonderfully blends the luxury and ruggedness of its X series of SUVs and crossovers with the swoopy looks of a coupe. The car will have just four seats and is slightly shorter in length and height than the X6 adorned with large 21-inch light-alloy wheels to give it sportier appearance. It features diesel engines in 2.0-Litre and a top spec 3.0-Litre.
BMW Concept Active Tourer : The BMW Concept Active Tourer grants an initial glimpse of further innovations in store for the premium compact segment. With this study BMW showcases a raft of pioneering solutions for the interior as well as in its drive concept. Comfort and functionality are resourcefully combined with dynamics and style, while a plug-in hybrid drive guarantees highest levels of efficiency. The drive system comprises a three-cylinder petrol engine and a synchronous electric motor producing a combined output of 140 kW/190 hp to propel the BMW Concept Active Tourer from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than eight seconds. The average fuel consumption of less than 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers (over 113 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions below 60 grams per kilometer.
BMW i3 concept coupe and i8 Concept Spyder: The BMW i3 Concept Coupe marks its European premiere in Geneva, while the BMW i8 Concept Spyder also makes an appearance. Vehicle range and charging infrastructure are a frequent subject of discussion as key factors in electric mobility.
With its eDrive powertrain, the BMW i3 is designed to require a battery recharge just once every two to three days in typical commuting use. That equates to a range of between 130 and 160 kilometres (80 to 100 miles). The system informs the driver how long it will take to charge the vehicle for the return journey or to travel to a further destination. An optional range extender is also available, increasing the driving range to approximately 300 kilometres (186 miles).
BMW M6 Gran Coupe : The much awaited BMW M finally will launch to the European public for the first time at the 2013 Geneva motor show. The 2014 BMW M6 gran coupe comes with an extraordinarily Handsome M performance and luxurious design with extra room on the board the four-door coupe.
