The luxury market is one of the most demanding segments of the market and Bentley is soon going to introduce a hybrid luxury saloon for the same. For the time being, the British major has unveiled Bentley Hybrid Concept which happens to be its first plug-in hybrid so far. The hybrid model will be based on the flagship Bentley Mulsanne and will officially debut at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition which begins on 20th April.

The new Bentley Continental family of cars are going to get a host of luxury and performance upgrade, while the Flying Spur luxury sedan will be available with the efficient yet powerful 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine. Bentley has plans to unveil the upgraded models at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. First and foremost it is the Continental GT Speed, the pinnacle of Continental family, which receives a power and torque boost.
The iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine powering the GT Speed now puts out 635 PS and 820 Nm of peak torque. Paying tribute to this great racer, Bentley has unveiled a new Limited Edition model exclusive to the European customers. Dubbed the Birkin Mulsanne, the limited edition model features a range of unique styling details. Bentley has said it will produce only 22 of the Birkin Mulsanne and the limited edition will be available in three color specifications: a fresh and contemporary Ghost White, Damson for a more vibrant touch, and a sophisticated contrast of Fountain Blue and Dark Sapphire.

This is one of the reasons why Bentley came up with its Power On Ice driving experience program and for the year 2014 the brand is back with the same. The new Flying Spur is loaded with most powerful 12-cylinder twin turbo 6.0 Litre Engine with 48-valve, making it the fastest Bentley 4-door sedan. The W12 engine is capable of generating an output of 616 hp[625 PS] at 6,000 rpm, while a never-give torque of 580 pound feet[800 Nm] at just 2,000 rpm which are the enhancement by the new optimising system which has improved the torque management, turbocharger control, driveability and greater low speed responsiveness. From the video, the 2014 luxury sedan looks to be more refined from various interior and exterior features as compared to the recent model. On the exterior as seen from the video, 2014 Flying Blur has an all-new grille, new head-lamps, new tail-lamps, while on interior, it has the steering wheels with new features like of the Bentley Continental Grand Tourer.
