Audi will debut its latest creation, the Audi exclusive RS7 dynamic edition at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. Unlike other concepts which are only unveiled to show how potent a particular model can be and do not go into mass production, the RS7 dynamic edition will be available as early as this summer. The highlights of the special model include Crimson Red safety belts, Tornado Red brake calipers, DRC suspension, Carbon fiber elements and sport exhaust. The special edition model will be priced at $146,045 (including destination).
Powering the RS7 dynamic edition is the same engine that sits under the hood of the standard RS7. The twin turbocharged 4.0 Liter TFSI V8 petrol engine produces a mighty 560 hp which is good enough to catapult the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The engine features cylinder on demand technology which deactivates select cylinders to help the RS7 save fuel. On four-cylinder mode the RS7 offers 15% better fuel efficiency and returns 16/27/19 mpg (city/highway/combined).
The exclusive set of features available on the RS7 dynamic edition Tornado Red brake calipers bearing RS7 logo, carbon fiber splitter, carbon fiber engine cover, carbon fiber diffuser, Black Valcona leather seats featuring with Crimson Red honeycomb stitching, Crimson Red safety belts, Crimson Red stitching on gear shifter boot, door and center armrests and the dashboard.
The model also equips a DRC suspension that comes with different damper settings and is works in tandem with the Audi drive select system for maximum performance. Precise handling is offered by Audi’s Dynamic steering.
