Amid the variety of eye-catching concept cars from various global manufactures, Aston Martin is going to unveil two new special edition models at the 84th Geneva International Motor Show. Celebrating it’s 101st year in the automotive industry, the British car maker will unveil special edition models of the iconic V8 Vantage and the timeless DB9.
First up is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 special addition which is powered by a mid-mounted, 4.7 liter, all alloy, dry sumped V8 engine which is capable of putting out a max power of 436 PS at 7,300 rpm. The powerful engine helps the car sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and attain a top speed of 190 mph. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual unit, with an optional 7 speed Sportshift II automated manual unit also on offer.
The exterior of the N430 makes use of a dark-theme exterior package that includes graphite painted forged alloy wheels, black front grille, black headlamp bezels, black exterior meshes, black side window surrounds and textured tailpipe finishers.
The inside of the car is equally exclusive and adds plenty of new features and materials. The cabin features machined carbon sill plaques, N430 seat logos, PlissèAlcantara seat and door inserts, black magnesium paddle-shifters or carbon fibre gearshift surround, black anodized dials, leather steering wheel, unique seat trim patterns and more. The list of optional features include a 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system featuring ICEpower technology.
Sharing the stage with N430 will be DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White special edition models which carry the GT sporting nature. The Carbon Black edition is a step up from the standard model, thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre elements. The Cabon White, on the other hand, carries a dramatic styling effect provided by the carbon fiber elements on the Stratus White painted body. Exclusive elements for the exterior of the Carbon Black and Carbon White special edition models include carbon fibre side strakes and black window surrounds.
Powering this model is the modern AM11 V12 engine which offers classic GT character while putting out massive numbers, 517 PS of power and 620 Nm of peak torque. The interior of this model gets an all black theme along with several carbon fibre details.
