Almost one year ago, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the new international brand, Qoros unveiled its first series production car, the Qoros 3 Sedan. Now, at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Qoros is all set to unveil its second series production vehicle, the Qoros 3 Hatch. The Qoros 3 Hatch is ready to hit the Chinese automobile market and will be launched by mid 2014.
The Qoros 3 Hatch is 4.4 meters in length, 1.9 meters in width and features a 2.7 m long wheelbase. Design wise the hatchback has a deep split frame grille featuring signature Qoros mesh, repositioned air intakes, chrome finished fog lamp and grille surrounds, LED daytime running lights integrated head lamps, LED turn indicator integrated side mirrors, a strong belt line, a chrome strip across the length of doors, 16 inch wheels and more.
The engine lineup includes two 1.6 liter, four cylinder engines. The 1.6 liter naturally aspirated variant of the engine produces 127 PS of power and peak torque of 155 Nm available at 3900 rpm. This version comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission which helps the car spring from 0 to 62 mph in 11.6 seconds.
The other, 1.6 liter turbocharged version of the engine happily produces 158 PS of max power and peak torque of 210 Nm available between from 1750 rpm up to 5000 rpm. This version is matched to a 6 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that allows the car go from 0 to 62 mph in 9.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 210 km/h. Other technical highlights include a Macpherson strut at the front and OMEGA-shaped twist beam at the rear.
The interior features list includes a number of standard features such as the Qoros MMH system featuring an 8 inch touch screen, Qoros cloud, Bluetooth connectivity, 3.5 inch TFT colour display for displaying important info, a 100 watt 4-speaker audio system, engine immobilizer, anti-theft alarm system and much more.
