At the 84th New York International Auto Show, Japanese marque Honda has released the first photos of the all new 2015 Honda HR-V compact SUV. Lately, the number of young buyers have increased by great numbers and therefore Honda wants to leave no stone unturned to grab the attention of this new class of buyers. Expanding its small car lineup, Honda also launched the 2015 Honda Fit subcompact car at the New York Auto Show.
While the 2015 Fit will be available to the buyers right away, the all new Honda HR-V is scheduled to arrive in winters. With these two new small cars, Honda is expecting a strong growth in the market.
The HR-V features a compact and sleek design complemented by expressive character body lines. It is based on the same compact platform that underpins the new generation Fit but will offer more versatility and and space, thanks to a unique center tank layout. The 2015 HR-V will equip Honda’s Magic Seat that allows folding the second row of seats for extra cargo space and multiple seating configurations. The car will be positioned below the Honda CR-V and will serve as the starting point of Honda’s light truck range. More details will be revealed in the coming months.
Talking about the 2015 Honda Fit, the new subcompact comes with a refreshed styling and new standard features. The equipment list includes a 7-inch Display Audio with LaneWatch display and HondaLink connectivity, Expanded View Drivers Mirror, multi-angle rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity and more. The new Fit also equips a new Earth Dreams Technology 1.5 liter direct injected engine. Transmission options on the new model include a 6-speed manual and a new Continuously Variable Transmission. The pricing for the 2015 Fit starts from $15,525.
