2015 Lincoln Navigator To Debut At Chicago Auto Show On Feb 6

Lincoln is going to debut the all new 2015 Lincoln Navigator at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show that starts in the first week of February. Just like other modern Lincoln products, the 2015 Navigator will feature an updated styling complemented by Lincoln’s iconic split-wing grille, upgraded interior and a host of technologies to cater to the needs of urban customers.

Along with the new grille, the exterior of the 2015 Navigator gets a newly designed hood, a restyled rear, power operated tail gate, jewel-like light-emitting diode (LED) lights, high-intensity discharge (HID) adaptive headlamps featuring LED accents, standard 20-inch aluminum wheels, and more. The 2015 Navigator with Reserve Package will equip 22-inch polished aluminum wheels and optional running boards with chrome accents.

The cabin of the 2015 Navigator has been comprehensively redesigned and added with new features. The list includes MKC style Wollsdorf leather wrapped, wood-trimmed steering wheel, PowerFold third-row seats, plenty of second row seat configurations. The car offers segment-leading cargo volume of 128.2 cubic feet behind first row, 86.3 cubic feet behind second row and 42.6 cubic feet behind the third row in the extended wheelbase version. The standard wheelbase model offers slightly lesser cargo volume.

Perhaps the biggest change is under the hood as Lincoln has replaced the 5.4-liter V8 with a more powerful and fuel efficient 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. The EcoBoost engine is capable of producing close to 370 hp and 430 lb.-ft. of torque, and class leading towing capabilities. The powerful engine will come mated with a six-speed automatic transmission featuring Lincoln’s SelectShift. The vehicle will be available in both all wheel drive and two wheel drive configurations.

The list of equipment available as standard include Lincoln’s Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD), Lincoln Drive Control, Hill Start/Descent Assist, Lincoln Nivomat – a load leveling system that adjusts the height of the loaded end automatically, MyLincoln Touch, 8-inch touch screen in the central console, Blind Spot Information System, keyless entry, illuminated “welcome mats” which can be activated at the press of a button, a new rearview camera and much more.
