Just yesterday, Cadillac has announced a new special model for their portfolio. We are talking about the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V coupe is the last generation V-Series model that packs a host of goodies to lure any performance car lover. The next generation V-Series is slated for the next year.
The 2015 CTS-V Coupe is a limited edition model and Cadillac will produce only 500 models of the same. The same will go on sale during the later half of 2014. Being a V-Series, a lot is expected in terms of performance and technology, and the 2015 CTS-V is no exception. In brief, the 2015 model packs a supercharged V8 engine putting out 556 hp, a high performance braking system from Brembo and Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control.
This 2+2 layout performance vehicle features a exclusive Ebony interior complemented by contrast stitching in red. The list of exclusive features includes Midnight Sapele wood trim, metal pedals, Recaro performance seats, microfiber suede-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel. The exterior features a dark-finish V grille, alloy wheels finished in satin graphite and red painted brake calipers.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the 2015 CTS-V starts from $72,195, including the $1,300 gas guzzler tax and $995 destination charge. The exterior color options include Phantom Gray, Crystal White and Black Diamond, the last one of which will cost an additional $995. As standard, the car will equip a 6-speed manual but an optional 6–speed automatic is also available. Customers who are interested in adding a sunroof will have to pay an additional $700.
