2014 Toyota Land Cruiser UK Pricing and Specifications Released

As per the latest word coming out of Toyota’s stables, come December, the automaker will launch the 2014 Land Cruiser in the UK. Considered among the finest SUVs in the global market, the 2014 model of the Land Cruiser will come with a series of changes that include a refreshed exterior design, improved interior, new entertainment features and advanced off-road technologies.

Of all the added features the one that is actually making the noise is Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system which is the improved version of the previously introduced Toyota Touch touchscreen multimedia system. Being the second version, the system features improved resolution, smartphone style ‘drag and swipe’ gesture technology, accurate traffic information – thanks to the adoption of Tom Tom Real Time Traffic alerts and Google Street View functionality.

Toyota is the first manufacturer in the UK to offer Tom Tom Real Time Traffic alongside Google Street View. Gladly, both the services come preinstalled on Toyota Touch 2 and will be free of charge for one year from the date the car is purchased.

Toyota has adopted a new naming system for its cars recently, and the 2014 Land Cruiser is the latest car to come with the new naming system. From now on there will be three grades: Active, Icon and Invincible. What is really interesting to note is that all the grades come with enhanced specification while retaining the pricing of the corresponding current grades.
