KIA has released official photos of new compact sedan 2014 Forte/Cerato/K3, which has multiple names according to the oversea market. It is known as Kia Forte in North America, while KIA Cerato in Australia, South Africa and Brazil, etc and K3 in South Korea’s home market. KIA Motors is one of the oldest car manufacturer of Korea, established in 1944, is always work with the principle -”The Power to Surprise”, is going to surprise and thrill everyone with the all new next generation, redesigned Forte/Cerato/K3, by developing an all-new body-shell structure, making the car more lower, longer and wider than the current variant of Forte/Cerato/K3, increasing the cab space with quality equipment and advanced technology.
In the exterior design, the new Forte/Cerato/K3 will be showcased as Kia’s signature tiger grille with dynamic headlight similar in Quoris and taillight, trunk-lid similar to Optima, short overhangs, cool curve above the sills with a chrome-finished belt-line, and new design wheels with extended wheelbase for a sporty look as well. The angled character lines in the side body, reaching to the rear of Forte are following a new aerodynamic design applied to the new Forte/Cerato/K3 by KIA.
The current variant of Kia’s Forte/Cerato/K3 in U.S., is equipped with 2.0 and 2.4 Liter with 156 hp and 173 hp respectively, but to compete with the emerging competition from home auto maker Hyundai Elantra‘s, which is delivering cars not just with more power but efficient too in mileage, the KIA has revised the new 2014 Forte/Cerato/K3 Engine, keeping mind the game of power with efficiency. The full figure of power and efficiency will be informed by KIA later.
The KIA Forte is scheduled to go on sale in Korea and many overseas, as K3 and Cerato, to dealerships in 1st quarter of 2013. The U.S. debut of the new compact sedan of KIA as Forte will be likely to be in the early month of 2013 and then reaching to the KIA dealers by 2014.

(SEOUL) July 29, 2012 – The all-new version of Kia’s global best-selling model, the Cerato compact sedan (also known as Forte in some countries), is scheduled to go on sale during the first quarter of 2013 at Kia dealerships in many overseas markets.
Longer, lower and wider than the current car, with an extended wheelbase, the next generation Cerato will be manufactured with an all-new bodyshell structure.
Featuring futuristic and dynamic styling, the all-new Cerato features a sleeker profile, LED front and rear lamps and a chrome-finished beltline.
All-new Cerato, to be called ‘K3′ in Kia’s home market of South Korea, will also boast improved quality, upgraded equipment, a more spacious cabin and a revised engine line-up that delivers class-leading fuel economy.
After going on sale in Korea later this year, the all-new Cerato sedan will appear at Kia dealerships in many overseas markets during the first quarter of 2013.
